Our model focuses on early intervention – helping people to manage health conditions while they are still at work or assisting those in the early stages of sickness absence – as we know that a health condition left unchecked quickly leads to increased risk of long-term absenteeism from the workplace. In turn, prolonged absence from work due to sickness impacts both the individual and their family through the impact on their physical state, psychological state (self esteem, motivation, definition of self), and decreased financial resources.
Our service is delivered by qualified psychologists and health professionals who address the health condition alongside tailored workshops, employer and clinical advocacy, and mediation. We also provide awareness training to employers, community organisations and advisors on topics such as mental health and improving access to psychological therapies.
